Armstrong and Coehorn Affair
By Trevor Belcher and John Osborne
Description
In August 1983 New Zealand Armed Constabulary Force Re-enactment Society members obtained Armstrong gun plans from the Royal Artillery Institution, England. Together they manufactured five full size Six Pounder Armstrongs and Limbers and four full size 12 pounder Armstrongs and Limbers similar to those used by the Artillery Unit of the New Zealand Armed Constabulary Force c1869. This book is a summary of the manufacture and subsequent use of Armstrong guns, and of the Coehorns from June, 1985.
