Labrador dogs are very obedient and easily trained, which makes them ideal for search and rescue, detection and therapy work. Labradors get along with most people or animals they come across and their stamina allows them to work for long periods of time. They are also strong and dependable. In addition, they have an excellent sense of smell and are incredibly agile. Their intelligence, energy and build make them an excellent partner for the Police. Protecting your community, a Labrador is an important part of the NZ Police and policing agencies around the world.
